Table No.8
come eat.
I cook, you come.
Same table, wherever I set it up.
Grab a seat below.
A private
dinner at mine.
Good food, good people, limited seats.
I host a few times a month - sometimes in Munich, sometimes wherever I've set up next.
No fixed menu, no fixed location. Just whatever's in season, whoever shows up, and a table worth sitting at.
Friends bring friends. New faces welcome.
Hi, I'm Benjamin
30 years old and I love to cook.
My mum put me in front of a stove when I was young. When I left home at 18, I realised I wasn't ready to eat badly - so I kept cooking and figured the rest out along the way.
I'm not a trained chef. Never have been. I don't have a home kitchen right now - I carry a knife roll and find a stove wherever I land. Places like Mexico, Japan and Italy have shaped how I think about food. Every city teaches me something. Every market changes the menu.
I try to keep it honest, precise, no shortcuts. Seasonal wherever possible. Nothing on the plate that doesn't need to be there.
Table No. 8 is about bringing people together who genuinely enjoy a good meal. Good food, good company. That's really all it is.
HOW IT WORKS
A few times a month, I set a table for up to ten people. No fixed menu - I cook whatever's in season and whatever I've been wanting to try. Every dinner is different. Sometimes it's a single dish done really well, sometimes it's five courses.
You never quite know
what you're getting.
That's the point.
There's no sharp start time, no assigned seats, no pressure. I share a time, you show up when you're ready, eat when you're hungry. Come alone, come with someone - either works.
HUNGRY YET?
